You really can't go wrong with a Betsey Johnson dress, especially for prom. Betsey's dresses are always young, fun, and fresh. We love this dress for its sequined sweetheart neckline – the hottest neckline for prom this year. Black and white is always classic and beautiful, but the sequins and short, flouncy skirt give it an edge.

This boutique is a little bit of a trip – but it's a must-mention. Park Avenue South, actually located in New Jersey, is packed to the brim with designers like Dave and Johnny, Joli Prom, and Cassandra Stone. Plus, they have exclusive collections of dresses that you won't find anywhere else, so you know you won't get to prom and be wearing the same dress as another chick. (Nightmare!) I love this organza gown by Clarisse with a fishtail hem, which is a huge trend for spring. The 80′s-inspired black lace gloves are a nice touch – Madonna would be proud.
